
Young Jei Kim

Young took up golf whilst at high school in South Korea and started playing seriously during his time at university in Korea. Following his graduation Young moved to the USA to embark on his golfing career.
His first job in the USA was assistant professional at Norcross Academy of Golf in Georgia where he remained for 3 years and gained considerable all round experience as well as competing in many local tournaments.
Young found teaching the most interesting aspect of a career in golf and subsequently moved to the San Diego Golf Academy. He studied many different fields of golf during his time at the SDGA and become a certified advanced instructor and club fitter. After graduating he got enrolled on the US PGA apprentice program and later moved on to work as head professional at JR South Bay Golf Center where he taught all level of golfers and ran junior and adult clinics.
He has now returned to South Korea where he has joined the DLGA team at Woo Jeong Hills and his is looking forward to sharing his vast knowledge.
