Shanghai Silport City Golf Club is home to the only DLGA facility in northern China. The Academy is conveniently located 30 minutes from the centre of Shanghai and 10 minutes from Hongqiao Airport.

 
Shanghai Silport DLGA is part of the Silport Golf Group which boasts two other premier golf facilities in China; Shanghai Silport Golf Club and Tiger Beach Golf Links.

Shanghai Silport Golf Club, located in Kunshan, has been the host of the Volvo China Open on seven occasions from 1995 to the present day and is a popular choice for corporations hosting their customer golf events. The club boats 36 holes of championship golf alongside club house and practice facilities of the highest standard.

With the course located a mere 40 minutes from the Academy, on course lessons, and student tournaments are conducted there. Although the Shanghai Academy has only been open for a short time, it has already attracted hundreds of students from around the Greater Shanghai area, ranging from young junior golfers to Touring Professionals.

2007 saw the academy work alongside its elder brother, Silport Golf Club to stage the inaugural Silport Junior Series which has provided juniors with a tournament platform to test their skills against each other.

Academy facilities include a 48 bay driving range, real grass putting green, pitching green and bunker as well as a fully stocked pro shop and a newly opened wine bar and restaurant.
