As an amateur, Robin competed and won at all levels - county, national, and international, most notably helping Ireland to win the European Team Championship and Home Internationals for the first time. Robin also had the honour of representing Great Britain & Ireland in international competition.Robin started his P.G.A training at the prestigious Royal Belfast Golf Club, the oldest Club in Ireland. At this time Robin was ranked as one of the top playing Professionals in the country and received invitations to play in European Tour events. It was here that Robin developed a great interest in teaching and realised the level to which DLGA instructors are trained. Robin spent considerable periods of time at DLGA La Cala before moving to DLGA Wynyard in England where he was trained under Senior Director of Instruction Andrew Nicholson. Robin has recently moved to Korea and holds the position of Senior Instructor. Having made a very swift impact on golf in Korea, Robin is coach to some of the countries top players. Robin prides himself on his personality and enjoys helping golfers at all levels of the game.
