Upon picking up a club in 1997, Raymond was instantly hooked on golf!
With his new found passion, Raymond emigrated to New Zealand, where he became a full time player, focused on becoming a Professional Golfer. To further his knowledge of the game, Raymond studied Golf Management at the New Zealand Physical Training College.
This qualification enabled him to join the Howic Golf Club as a Professional Instructor, where he taught golfers of all ages, levels and abilities.
Due to his dedication and patience, his dream of becoming a PGA Professional was realized in 2005 when he became a full member of the Fiji PGA.
In early 2006, Raymond was given the opportunity to join Mission Hills DLGA, where he trained under the guidance of DLGA Directors Paul Hoad and Andrew Leadbetter, son of David Leadbetter.
After a successful 2 year spell with Mission Hills DLGA, Raymond brings his skills and experience to Silport DLGA.
Raymond is a native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English, Cantonese and Shanghai dialects.
