Philippe is originally from Brasschaat Belgium. Seven years after starting his golfing career, Philippe, aged 20 chose to enrol in the prestigious San Diego Golf Academy in Orlando. Throughout his education there he was the assistant teacher for PGA Master Professional, Alan J Flashner. After passing the required exams Philippe received degrees in advanced teaching, club repair and fitting, tournament operations and received playing credentials.

Throughout his education Philippe lowered his handicap to a +2,7 and started playing as a professional on different tours in the USA. When Philippe stopped playing tournament golf he decided to become a teaching professional. Since then he has been with the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Bad Tatzmannsdorf during the summer season. Throughout the summers of 2006 and 2007 Philippe was also an instructor in the Leadbetter Academy in Achenkirch and spent the winter of 2006 at DLGA La Cala, Spain.

Philippe enjoys teaching and learning the Leadbetter method of teaching.
