Paul Dyer
European Senior Director of Instruction
DLGA Germany
After a successful amateur and college golf career Paul turned professional at the age of 20, competing in national and international tournaments throughout Europe and Africa whilst attached to the prestigious Sand Moor Golf Club in Leeds, England. His then coach Dennis Sheehy introduced him to David Leadbetter and his philosophies which in turn increased his interest in primarily focusing on the mechanics of the golf swing. This resulted in him setting up his own teaching Academy which grew to two sites in the north of England.
In 1993, Paul was recruited to join the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Since that time, Paul has worked all over Europe coaching golfers of all standards with DLGA - from beginners to Ryder Cup players. His client list has included names such as Per-Ulrik Johansson and Niclas Fasth, a number of national golf federations including France and Sweden and many amateur golfers. Paul hosts professional development courses for the PGA and has spoken at various further learning events for PGA colleagues.
He is now Academy Director for Germany and teaches at Timmendorfer Strand in addition to many corporate and tournament events throughout northern Europe.
