Kumi Takanashi - Instructor
DLGA Ishizaka, Japan
Born in 1975, Kumi started playing golf at the age of 16 years and always knew she wanted a career as a golf instructor. She joined DLGA Japain in 2001 and spent several years assisting senior instructors at the same time as persevering in her effort to become a certified instructor. She quickly reached this goal and, being one of the few female DLGA certified instructors, her gentle teaching style is highly reputed especially among juniors and female golfers.
