Born in Tokyo in 1970, Ishida demonstrated a passion for golf from an early age. Having studied the Leadbetter method as part of his professional qualifications, Ishida held David and his theory in great esteem. Ishida qualified as a certified DLGA instructor in 2001 and has continued his training under the worldwide Director of Training and Certification. His easy to understand and implement teaching style is widely accepted by golfers of all ages and abilities.
