Originally born in Harare Zimbabwe, Grant was brought up and educated in England. Nephew to Nick Price, Grant always had the desire to chase after him. Although a late starter to the game at the age of 16 fast progress was made in his golfing career. In just 18 months he made the county side and set his sights higher. After receiving instruction from David Leadbetter, he proceeded to a number of amateur wins, progressing steadily and competed in a number of national tournaments alongside players such as Justin Rose and Gary Wolstenholme.

His professional career was brought to a sharp and sudden halt when almost killed in a motor accident. After not being able to walk for over a year, receiving surgery and constant physiotherapy, progression was made. He returned to the game against all expectations and is using that same motivation and determination in his instruction. It was during this period however, that Grant further developed his passion for understanding the various elements of golf, from bio-mechanics to fundamental technique respectively, in all areas of the game. 

Grant pursued his passion for the golf swing, looking no further than the inspired instruction of David Leadbetter. Having worked along side David at Champions Gate in Florida, assisting with players such as Nick Price, Ernie Els, Justin Rose and Charles Howell III, to name a few, Grant is currently using his expertise at DLGA Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria.
