Duncan was born in Manchester, England and took up playing golf aged 13 progressing quickly to the junior county side.

After completing college he joined the Professional Golfers Association. Throughout the training period, Duncan experienced both playing and coaching. He successfully competed in many regional and national events both as individual and as part of a team. Based during his training at Didsbury Golf Club, Manchester, Duncan developed his communication skills, experience and knowledge of the golf swing. He has taught all levels from juniors, beginners and those who aspire to join the professional ranks. Duncan has been involved in the creation and running of a junior ‘starter centre’ and enjoys the challenge of teaching golf to all.

Duncan has completed three seasons in Austria and for the last two he has been the lead instructor at DLGA Achenkirch in the Tyrol. He has also completed one winter season at La Cala resort, Spain and two winter seasons at Sentosa Golf Club, Singapore as well as assisting and observing David Leadbetter personally at Champions Gate, Florida.
