In August 2002, Cyrus enrolled in the Professional Golf Management Program at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. In addition to obtaining a degree in Business Administration, Cyrus completed 16 months of apprenticeships at numerous top ranked facilities throughout the United States.Throughout his career Cyrus has worked at the Country Club of Orlando, served an apprenticeship at the Philadelphia Cricket Club, America’s oldest country club established in 1854. He finished his training under one of New England’s top ranked teaching professionals, Jeanmarie Waters at the Essex County Club outside of Boston, Massachusetts.
In December 2006, Cyrus graduated from Florida State University and was elected a Class “A” Member of the United States PGA. In January 2007, Cyrus was given the opportunity to take his experience to the international level, where he now joins the Silport David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Shanghai, China.
