Mathias was born in Ravensburg, learning to play golf at the age of seven. He is a fully Qualified Professional of the PGA of Germany, previously working at the Fleesensee Golf and Country Club with the former national coach Oliver Audibles.
Throughout his training he has worked with adults, teenagers and children of all levels both individually and in group tuition, social memebers and corporate events.He is also responsible for training at a local boarding school, assiting children and teenagers both with their golf and their education, teaching Mathematics and English.
Mathias coaching objectives, regardless of the age and skill level of his students, are to enhance the pupils enjoyment of the game through the introduction of effective long-term improvements.
